A Legacy of Sustainable Living
From a young age, I learned the importance of minimizing waste. My parents would take old Folger’s coffee cans and use them to collect food scraps throughout the day. When the can was full, they’d empty it into the compost pile outside—a simple, meaningful act that kept waste out of the trash and nourished our garden.
They also had a knack for giving second life to everyday objects—whether it was an old plastic jar or tin, they’d find a use for it. Instead of tossing it away or buying an expensive container, they’d store loose screws, nails, or other small household items in them. That sense of purpose and creativity was ingrained in me, and it’s now at the heart of what we do at Arcadian Supply Co.

Our Repurposed Packaging Program

We’re proud to introduce our new Repurposed with Care Program as part of our commitment to sustainability. Through this program, we invite our customers to join us in reducing waste and finding value in what others might consider disposable.

• Candle Jars and Beard Oil Bottles:
  Local customers can now return used candle jars or amber beard oil bottles from Arcadian Supply Co. as part of our program. In exchange, you’ll receive a discount on your next purchase. This initiative helps reduce glass waste, especially since our county no longer recycles glass, while also rewarding our customers for being part of the change.
• Reused Shipping Boxes:
  If your order arrives in a box that looks gently used, it’s all part of the plan. Whether it’s from a shipment we received for business or even a personal package, we reuse these boxes instead of sending them to the landfill. Keep an eye out for our “Repurposed with Care” stamp on your packages—it means that your items have been thoughtfully repurposed by Arcadian Supply to reduce waste and support sustainable practices.

Why Repurposing Matters

With fewer recycling options available and increasing waste in landfills, reusing materials becomes one of the best ways to reduce our environmental footprint.
